Client Overview
CloudStack Analytics is a London-based B2B SaaS platform providing business intelligence tools for mid-market companies. With strong product-market fit in the UK and US, they identified Brazil as their next growth market — specifically targeting CTOs and data teams in São Paulo’s financial district and Rio’s tech corridor. They engaged our Brazilian SEO Agency to build organic visibility from zero on Google.com.br.
The Challenge
CloudStack entered Brazil with an English-language website, European Portuguese translations that sounded foreign to Brazilian readers, and no understanding of how Brazilian enterprises evaluate and purchase SaaS products. Brazilian B2B buyers research extensively before contacting sales — they read comparison articles, check G2 and Reclame Aqui reviews, and search for localized case studies. CloudStack had none of this infrastructure.
The linguistic hurdles extended beyond translation. Brazilian tech professionals use a mix of Portuguese and English loanwords, but search in Portuguese. Queries like “software de business intelligence” outperformed English equivalents, while “ferramenta de análise de dados” captured a different buyer segment entirely. CloudStack needed multilingual SEO Portuguese strategy that mapped every buyer journey stage.
Competition was fierce. Established Brazilian SaaS companies and international players with localized .com.br domains already occupied top positions. CloudStack needed differentiated Brazilian content strategy and authoritative .br backlinks to compete.
Our Strategy
Our Brazilian keyword research phase mapped the entire B2B SaaS buyer journey on Google Brazil. We identified high-intent commercial keywords (“melhor software BI Brasil”), comparison queries (“CloudStack vs [competitor]”), and informational terms (“como implementar business intelligence”) — over 600 keywords segmented by funnel stage and buyer persona.
Technical SEO addressed international site architecture. We implemented hreflang tags linking English and Brazilian Portuguese versions, created a dedicated /br/ subdirectory with São Paulo-hosted content, and configured Google Search Console geo-targeting for Brazil. Core Web Vitals optimization ensured the SaaS marketing site loaded fast on Brazilian mobile networks — critical since 65% of B2B research happens on smartphones during commutes across São Paulo.
Content creation focused on Brazilian business culture. We published in-depth guides addressing LGPD compliance (Brazil’s data protection law), integration with Brazilian ERP systems, and case studies featuring fictional but realistic Brazilian enterprise scenarios. Comparison pages pitting CloudStack against competitors in Portuguese captured high-intent traffic that previously went to affiliate review sites.
Link building targeted .br domains in technology and business media. Placements in TI Inside, Computerworld Brasil, and StartSe established CloudStack as a credible player in the Brazilian SaaS ecosystem. We also secured listings on Brazilian software directories and participated in São Paulo tech event coverage that generated natural editorial links.
Voice search optimization prepared CloudStack for growing Brazilian trends: FAQ schema markup on key pages captured featured snippets for conversational queries like “qual o melhor software de análise de dados para empresas.”
